Is diet root beer good for over weight diebetics over 55 years old?

Q.

A. Sure, anyone can drink diet root beer, no sugar, so nothing to worry about

Sugarless chocolate chip cookies sweetened with stevia?
Q. I'm looking for a recipe for chocolate chip cookies, but I
don't want any sugar, even in the chocolate chips. I would
vastly prefer stevia over artificial sweeteners.

Of course, I'm willing to make the chocolate chips from
unsweetened chocolate, stevia, and other natural ingredients.

A. Try sugar free ones made with splenda, its a natural sweetner too derived from sugar without the calories and its ok for people on low carb diets and diebetics too. It tastes exactly like regular chocolate. I get my sugar free chocolate at Trader Joe's.

So is it impossible for me to lose weight?
Q. My mother is morbidly obese and members of her family are overweight. I have been exercising recently and eating better. Some people tell me they notice a difference, but I don't. I truly am frightened by all this recent research that seems to suggest that obesity is genetic and if your family is fat you cannot possibly lose weight. I would like to hear some personal experiences and stories about fat families and weight loss attempts(some successes, I hope). It's greatly appreciated.

A. My dad has 6 other siblings, and they are all overwight, including my dad too, and their parents were crazy overweight too. On top of that, they are ALL diebetics, so if being fat is genetic then i have to worry about being stuck fat AND becomming a dietbetic. I have recently started to eat healthy and exercise for an hour every day, and it's worked for me. I've lost 20 lbs in the past month and a half. The reason why you probably don't notice your own weightloss is because you see yourself everyday so much, where others don't so they see the changes. Eventually when you've lost a fair amount, even you'll start to notice.

Some people don't even notice they've lost weight until one random day they realise their inner thighs don't rub together when they walked (i don't know if you have that problem, i sure do). If you need like a meal plan or any extra help you can email me. I've learned a LOT since i started losing weight.

Why did the FDA restrict Lasik surgery to over 18?
Q. Besides needing the surgery again (possibly) in a few years, I don't see that the surgery would pose any additional risks to teenagers if their vision has stabilized.

A. There are actually some places that may preform LASIK if you are under 18 it is just considered off label. The majority of humans do not have stable vision until between the ages of 18-21, so if your vision is changing then it makes no sense to have it done because you will just have to have it done again, the same is true for diebetics, Contact lens wearers, and pregnant or breast feeding women.
