Sugarless chocolate chip cookies sweetened with stevia?

Q. I'm looking for a recipe for chocolate chip cookies, but I
don't want any sugar, even in the chocolate chips. I would
vastly prefer stevia over artificial sweeteners.

Of course, I'm willing to make the chocolate chips from
unsweetened chocolate, stevia, and other natural ingredients.

A. Try sugar free ones made with splenda, its a natural sweetner too derived from sugar without the calories and its ok for people on low carb diets and diebetics too. It tastes exactly like regular chocolate. I get my sugar free chocolate at Trader Joe's.

So is it impossible for me to lose weight?
Q. My mother is morbidly obese and members of her family are overweight. I have been exercising recently and eating better. Some people tell me they notice a difference, but I don't. I truly am frightened by all this recent research that seems to suggest that obesity is genetic and if your family is fat you cannot possibly lose weight. I would like to hear some personal experiences and stories about fat families and weight loss attempts(some successes, I hope). It's greatly appreciated.

A. My dad has 6 other siblings, and they are all overwight, including my dad too, and their parents were crazy overweight too. On top of that, they are ALL diebetics, so if being fat is genetic then i have to worry about being stuck fat AND becomming a dietbetic. I have recently started to eat healthy and exercise for an hour every day, and it's worked for me. I've lost 20 lbs in the past month and a half. The reason why you probably don't notice your own weightloss is because you see yourself everyday so much, where others don't so they see the changes. Eventually when you've lost a fair amount, even you'll start to notice.

Some people don't even notice they've lost weight until one random day they realise their inner thighs don't rub together when they walked (i don't know if you have that problem, i sure do). If you need like a meal plan or any extra help you can email me. I've learned a LOT since i started losing weight.

Why did the FDA restrict Lasik surgery to over 18?
Q. Besides needing the surgery again (possibly) in a few years, I don't see that the surgery would pose any additional risks to teenagers if their vision has stabilized.

A. There are actually some places that may preform LASIK if you are under 18 it is just considered off label. The majority of humans do not have stable vision until between the ages of 18-21, so if your vision is changing then it makes no sense to have it done because you will just have to have it done again, the same is true for diebetics, Contact lens wearers, and pregnant or breast feeding women.

Is potato is unsafe for diebetics?
Q. Fresh potato contains about about 16-18% starch.Doctors say that potato should not form a diet foe diebetic patients, while wheat, rice and othes foods are allowed which contain from 60-80% starch. Please let me know about the fact.

A. Here is the information about the sweet potatoes.

The healing power of the sweet potato: another good food that has received a bad name, taking blame for weight gain. The sweet potato is one of the most nutritious foods you can eat. It can help preserve your memory, control diabetes and reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer. Sweet potatoes are more than just a filling food.

The sweet potato is a member of the morning glory family and except in name only, is not related to the white potato. It helps prevent cancer and heart disease. It is rich in complex carbohydrates and low in calories - there are only 117 calories in a 4-oz. serving. Sweet potatoes are used in controlling weight and conditions like diabetes. They are an easy way to get the heart healthy and to get cancer- fighting benefits into your diet.

A little known fact about beta-carotene and vitamins C and vitamin E is the protection they give the blood vessels and certain parts of the eye. The sweet potato gives you half of your daily value of vitamin C in only a 4-oz. serving. The same serving gives you 20 percent of the daily value of vitamin E.

Since sweet potatoes are such a good source of fiber, they're a good food for people with diabetes. The fiber helps lower blood sugar by slowing the rate at which food is converted into glucose and absorbed into the bloodstream. Also, because they are such complex carbohydrates, sweet potatoes can help control weight.

Now, let's get to the mind. Sweet potatoes not only keep you healthy, they have those good B vitamins, folate and vitamin B6, that give the brain a boost as we age.

When buying sweet potatoes, look for the ones with the most orange color. They have the most beta-carotene. They have little fat, but they do require a little fat to get the vitamins into your system. It is easy to get the required five to seven grams from other foods in your meal.
