what food is good for diebetis?

Q. My father have dibetis from 4 years. So I want to khow about his food?

A. High protein foods such as almonds, lean meats and beans are good for diabetics and eating many small meals instead of a few large meals daily is better too.

I feel weird when I eat anything with alot of sugar?
Q. I can actualy almost feel my hearbeat speed up, why is that? Is something wrong with me, do I have like diebetis? Im 5'8 & 119 or 120 pounds. I eat pretty healthy & work out. Am I okay??

A. That is called a sugar rush. If you crash and feel awful after word you may be suffering from hypoglycemia. This is the opposite of diabetes. It is treated the same way. You stay away from eating sugar. Basically it means that your body, pancreas and/or liver, has problems metabolizing the sugar properly and does not produce the right amount of insulin. My mom is a hypoglycemic. This also can turn into diabetes later in life if you don't control it early.

Is jogging and control eating sugar products control diabetics with out medicine?
Q.

A. Since my husband has found out that he had diabetis we have been very successful in controlling it with Diet and Exercise, now for over 8 years.
The diet -- in part a dietation can help you with this and is your best partner for advice (and advocate with success and your doctor), and helping you to control it without medication or injections.
Unless you are a great reader and want to research and follow doing things without help or support from someone-with a wealth of knowledge and easy to to talk with or get answers from.
U must follow a diet low in carbs and high in protein but not strickly low or no carbs as your body still needs carbs but in controlled amounts with some being better for you now then others because of your diabetis.
Learn them well!!
As well as when and in what amounts you can comfortably eat them without any side effects(you can not tollorate).
Weight control will happen automatically as your eating habits change and adjust to your diebetis.
It will become an ongoing process as your body will process sugar and carbs a bit differently now because of your bodies inabilities to tollorate uncontrolled sugar levels.
Exercise is basically up to you with what u will do and what u won't. But staying active by exercise will help in the controlling of sugar levels especially in times when it sugar levels are elevated and you need the help with getting it back down to a normal range for you faster.
So I guess what I am saying is it is a must also!
To us everything is exercise just in different ways.
Remember to enjoy life and try to stay positive as its a big step with the successfullness you will have now in controlling it on your own without meds.
