A. Use this website http://care.diabetesjournals.org/content/33/Supplement_1 and concentrate on Executive Summary: Standards of Medical Care in Diabetes�2010. I would use these journals when I was on an Ambulatory Care rotation in Pharmacy School (which I just graduated from last month). Diabetes Care journal is awesome so start digging in the information. Good Luck! (FYI you can include that A1C is now diagnostic when I was not in the past)

Q. I have had diabetes (type I brittle) over 45 yrs., and recently have had some major low sugar (hypoglycemic) reactions. I want to actively advocate for diabetes, I just need some direction on where to look.

A. I know this is not the answer to your question, but did you know that they found a cure for diabetes? (No scam...LOL. I know how it sounds.) Its eating raw food. They did a documentary recently called raw for 30.
